The idea came while Ryan was working at a marketing firm for Real Estate agents. His role was to customize and troubleshoot websites that were based on one of the many templates chosen. Clients were impressed with the artistic, graphic interpretation of their branding, and at the speed at which Ryan completed website tasks and projects.Soon, Ryan discovered a need for which businesses wanted custom websites by either customizing or redesigning their own current sites. Ryan began by taking many requests for graphic and web design for local San Diego businesses such as Mathewson Electric, the San Diego Black Film Festival, and for Chris Zach (a San Diego musician).ThatsGravy Designs ultimately specializes in helping those with personal websites, business owners, and marketing specialists. Web design, graphic design, troubleshooting, and assistance are many of the services offered and the foundation Ryan's business is customer service. He is in this business because he likes to help others. Using the many resources, and with a passion for continued learning, Ryan enjoys applying his skills to solve challenges. Many business owners have faced web designers who, “fell off the face of the earth,” and although Ryan understands that no designer is perfect, and that he certainly is not, he enjoys being part of the journey and helping in any way that he can.Upon becoming a success, as long as Ryan sticks to his core roots of customer service, ThatsGravy Designs will grow providing ongoing assistance for these businesses: the arts, health, Real Estate, attorneys, startup and local businesses who want to strengthen their online presence.
